Systems thinker always.
I spend most of my day moving between research notes, Figma files and dev handoff docs — translating what people need into interfaces that hold up under real use. My background spans product design, front-end implementation and a bit of business analysis, so I design with technical and commercial constraints already in mind, not as an afterthought.
Outside client work I'm usually rebuilding my own design system, reading about behavioural psychology, or sketching ideas that may never ship — just to keep the muscle warm.
How I work
A four-step process
Talk to real users
Audit what already exists and find out which assumptions are actually true before designing anything.
Agree on the problem
Turn research into a clear problem statement and success metrics everyone signs off on.
Prototype in fast loops
Wireframe and test in tight cycles, refining until the flow feels obvious rather than clever.
Stay through handoff
Hand off detailed specs and stay close through development so nothing gets lost in translation.
